Chickens, young hens & roosters, a few adults, $10-15 in Zebulon, North Carolina For Sale

all ages, mostly Australorp, some mixed. All are great laying hens and when grown, after 4 months. Some are laying already,birds . Some have silver lace at neck, some have purple iridescence, some have green.
A medium to larger bodied chicken, but eggs are always Lg to XL and jumbo in very light brown to ivory, strong shells.
Great quiet temperament, sweet and friendly. All hand raised and accustomed to turkeys, ducks, pheasants, doves, dogs., so they must be protected if in an area where loose dogs go, feral cats, raccoons, foxes, coyotes and even possums and large ratsnakes will come to eat them or their eggs.
At times, we have roosters of that year's hatch, at $8-12.
